Safety Manager - Supply Chain

Summary

Leads environmental health and safety processes at a distribution center and supports safety initiatives across the Supply Chain network. The role promotes a safe and compliant workplace through risk assessment, audits, training, and partnership with operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics, investigate incident trends, and maintain site safety programs and procedures.
• Conduct facility inspections and audits, identify hazards, develop corrective action plans, and ensure compliance with safety, fire, environmental, and hazardous waste regulations.
• Oversee safety committees, behavior-based safety teams, construction and equipment reviews, and regulatory agency responses.
• Manage EHS expenditures and support network-wide audits, training initiatives, and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in safety or occupational safety and health preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in safety, health, engineering, or a related discipline preferred; ASP certification or higher preferred.
• Experience leading safety efforts in a warehouse environment and knowledge of environmental regulations, hazardous waste, and OSHA regulations.
• Strong organization, time management, written communication, Microsoft Office, problem-solving, and safety instrument skills.
