Summary
Part-Time Sales Ambassador responsible for delivering a personalized and inspiring shopping experience while supporting store initiatives and driving sales. This role focuses on customer engagement, teamwork, and developing skills for potential leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive daily, weekly and monthly sales goals through proactive customer engagement
- Support company and store initiatives and represent brand expectations on the sales floor
- Participate in team training and utilize new technology and More Ways to Shop
- Engage in networking to build and maintain a clientele
- Provide feedback to management on successes, opportunities and category needs
- Support alternative purchasing processes such as Gladly, Click to Zoom, JRNI and Ship to Home
- Maintain store standards and ensure the sales floor is merchandised and presentable
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience in a high-volume specialty environment preferred
- Effective communication skills with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register and perform physical tasks including standing, walking and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
