Job Description

Summary

As a Sales Assistant at Loewe East Hampton, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by processing client transactions, handling repairs, exchanges, and returns, and responding to client inquiries. This seasonal position requires a strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately process client transactions on the POS system.
  • Collect and verify client information in the database.
  • Wrap and bag merchandise to the highest standards.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds following company policies.
  • Answer phones and ensure proper customer follow-up.
  • Assist with register opening/closing and cash reconciliation.
  • Support store management with special projects as needed.
  • Maintain inventory in an organized and secure manner.
  • Assist sales staff with merchandise needs and tidying up after sales.
  • Participate in inventory preparation and reconciliation processes.
  • Support CRM activities and track store assets.
  • Assist in maintaining the store image and housekeeping.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail setting.
  • Proven customer service skills and experience as a cashier.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
