Sales Assistant

Summary

The Sales Assistant provides outstanding customer service and operational administration to support the sales team and boutique performance. This role leverages product knowledge and operational competence to craft a seamless client experience while handling phones, POS liaison duties, shipments and stock tasks. The Sales Assistant also supports sales initiatives including reservations, pre-sales and client retention activities.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and manage boutique flow, communicating wait times and in-boutique expectations
• Answer store phones and assist clients to bridge wait times and facilitate a flawless experience
• Support sales team with client retention, prospecting, product launches, pre-sales, reservations and deposits
• Act as a liaison between clients and client advisors at POS and organize client credit card information
• Process client shipments, consignments, transfers and stock; pack shipments securely to specifications
• Support stock team with parcel processing using FedEx UPS USPS and messenger services and maintain shipping supplies
• Follow loss prevention procedures to ensure inventory integrity

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in a luxury selling environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and business maturity
• Ability to use POS systems and inventory management functions
• Capable of physical tasks including lifting up to 10 lbs and performing approximately 50% physical labor
• Flexible availability including some nights weekends and holidays and ability to work collaboratively
