Sales Associate

Summary

Join the opening team at John Lobb's new Chicago flagship as a Sales Associate serving a discerning international clientele. The role focuses on driving sales and delivering high-touch customer service while supporting daily boutique operations, including stock handling, after-care services, and administrative duties. The Sales Associate will also contribute to CRM initiatives and help maintain store presentation and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service on the sales floor and maximize sales opportunities.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of product features and benefits.
• Ensure store displays are attractive, fresh, and aligned with visual standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, correspondence, and after-sales support activities.
• Participate in stock ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory maintenance.
• Contribute to the customer database and CRM initiatives; liaise with the wider team as needed.
• Follow security procedures and undertake projects or tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in high-end or luxury retail; shoes or men's clothing experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral English; fluency in an additional language is advantageous.
• Some retail administration experience; basic understanding of CRM and e-commerce is a plus.
• Sophisticated selling approach with strong customer relationship skills; proactive and performance-focused.
• Team player who is dynamic, adaptable, and possesses good problem-solving skills.
