The Sales Manager leads the sales experience and performance of a store team, driving client development, coaching direct reports, and ensuring operational excellence. This temporary role manages recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance to achieve sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service and leveraging clienteling tools.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new sales associates to build talent bench
- Coach and develop direct reports through training and performance management
- Maintain high visibility on the selling floor and model exceptional customer service
- Drive client development initiatives and manage client appointments and events
- Use data and clienteling tools to identify growth opportunities and increase repeat business
- Manage scheduling and daily prioritization aligned to business needs
- Support audit compliance and oversee department controls
- Collaborate with store leadership, marketing, merchants, and vendors to execute strategies
- Champion change initiatives and share best practices to improve performance
Requirements
- Supervisory experience managing a team of direct reports
- Proven track record achieving sales and operational results
- Proficiency with clienteling tools, social selling, and Google Workspace
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand bend climb stairs and lift up to 10 pounds
- Luxury retail fashion experience preferred
- Four year degree preferred
