Summary
The Sales Supervisor, Leathergoods assists the Boutique Manager and Assistant Manager with day to day boutique management and achieving sales goals for leathergoods. This role supports high levels of customer service, coaching the sales team, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention to drive commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Maximize sales and monitor sales performance and conversion rates daily.
- Coach, train, develop, and manage sales associates in selling skills and clienteling.
- Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals for Sales Associates.
- Participate in staffing, scheduling, and boutique operations management.
- Prepare and maintain merchandise displays and presentations following merchandising guidelines.
- Oversee and participate in department inventories and stock management.
- Manage merchandise transfers, damages, and returns to vendor.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security, and cash handling procedures.
- Lock and secure the store and oversee security procedures.
Requirements
- 4+ years of retail experience, preferably with at least 1 year of management in a luxury product setting.
- Strong knowledge of the luxury industry and fashion sensitivity.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and train associates and build customer relationships.
- Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage boutique operations including attendance, merchandising, and housekeeping standards.
- Commercial creativity, initiative, and ability to meet sales objectives.
- Ability to remain on the selling floor for extended periods as needed.
