Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a consistent memorable customer shopping experience using the highest standards of service while building client relationships and supporting store leadership development. Partner with managers to learn leadership responsibilities and positively influence the store team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the sales floor and uphold customer service and training standards.
- Coach and mentor sales team to expand clientele and maximize sales.
- Support opening and closing procedures and complete returns and exchanges in manager absence.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and participate in daily stock maintenance and floor changeovers.
- Utilize product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Identify and communicate training needs to management and support task tracking.
- Promote new business initiatives and deliver value added services to enhance customer experience.
- Demonstrate professional etiquette and uphold the brand aesthetic in merchandising activities.
Requirements
- Relevant retail experience preferred with demonstrated sales ability.
- Ability to guide and develop staff using coaching and motivation skills.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Analytical, business and financial acumen.
- Proficiency with computers and retail systems preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, Outlook).
- Ability to operate register and stand or walk for multiple hours.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and climb moderately using a ladder per safety guidelines.
