Job Description

Overview

Join a dynamic and growing company based in New York, NY, as a Sales and Business Development Executive. This role is pivotal in driving the next phase of growth by opening new selling channels and expanding existing ones across premium and luxury markets. You will partner closely with the leadership team to develop effective direct-to-consumer strategies and translate the brand’s creative vision into commercial success. If you have a passion for building robust sales channels and a genuine love for premium brands, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Expand wholesale distribution across premium and luxury retailers, including major and specialty/independent stores
  • Develop and execute a direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy that aligns with the brand and drives margins
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in various U.S. market segments such as department stores, specialty boutiques, and digital platforms
  • Translate the creative vision of the brand into tangible commercial wins
  • Partner closely with the leadership team to set and achieve sales targets and growth objectives

Requirements

  • Extensive industry experience in the mid-priced premium segment, with thorough knowledge of key players, price points, and market pace
  • Strong blend of wholesale, merchandising, financial planning, and business development experience
  • Hands-on leadership style with a proven ability to work effectively within small, dynamic teams
  • Track record of building and scaling e-commerce/D2C channels that drive conversions
  • Established reputation within the market and a network of relevant industry contacts
  • Excellent taste and vision for scalable brand growth
  • Energetic and creative mindset with the ability to maintain high momentum
  • Collaborative and results-driven attitude, with a focus on execution and attention to detail
  • Authentic and down-to-earth interaction style with internal teams and clients
