The Seamstress also maintains the tailor shop, manages records of tailoring activities, and contributes to overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute premium tailoring and alteration services to CHANEL standards and meet alteration deadlines.
• Conduct fittings with clients and provide expert advice on alterations and garment care.
• Perform thorough quality checks on finished alterations to ensure cleanliness and precision.
• Maintain an organized, fully equipped Tailor Shop and request tools, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Assist in stock quality control by repairing or adjusting items and communicate alteration details with boutique staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping for tailoring activities using after-sales platforms/tools.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional tailoring experience, preferably in luxury fashion.
• Strong client service skills with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and thorough knowledge of fabrics and garment construction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment and maintain organizational standards.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, and an openness to learn new techniques and guidelines.
