Summary
The Seasonal Customer Experience Specialist delivers exceptional, customer-focused service in a store setting, supporting stylists, processing merchandise, and helping execute in-store events. This role connects customers to services such as online order pickup, alterations, styling, returns, and gift wrapping while maintaining a clean, organized environment. The specialist adapts quickly, communicates professionally, and supports both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers, assess needs, and tell product and service stories to create a positive experience.
- Connect customers to services including Online Order Pickup, Alterations, Styling, Returns, and Gift Wrapping.
- Answer phones, manage email communication, and provide feedback on trend, fit, and style.
- Support inventory and back-of-house processes to maintain organization and cleanliness.
- Assist with event execution, including RSVP management, guest greeting, and tracking customer contact information.
- Perform opening and closing duties and follow security procedures when required.
- Perform light cleaning tasks and handle merchandise movement as needed.
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability, initiative, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
- Able to multitask, adapt to new initiatives, and work collaboratively with stylists and team members.
- Basic proficiency with technology and computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Booking Bug, and Excel.
- Ability to be on your feet and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting; regularly lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds, and sometimes up to 50 pounds.
