Summary
Seasonal logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and preparing customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure timely and accurate inventory flow and excellent customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for distribution to selling departments
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling floors and stockrooms
- Fulfill customer orders promptly following quality packing and shipping standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and inventory control procedures
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan process and research merchandise shipments
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special events markdowns and relocating fixtures
Requirements
- High level of ownership accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort using various technologies and computer applications
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry items frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
