Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack newly arrived merchandise
• Deliver merchandise to selling departments and organize stockrooms
• Fulfill customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Research and address inventory discrepancies per control processes
• Assist with setting up special events and relocating store fixtures
• Support markdowns and general store organization
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and backrooms

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort using various technologies and computer applications
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Capacity for continuous movement for 6 to 8 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching to handle merchandise
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
