The Seasonal Sewer in the Alterations & Tailor Shop performs sewing and pressing to deliver high-quality alterations and customer service. This role completes alteration tasks per store guidelines, meets productivity goals, and uses store technology to manage customer orders. The Sewer works collaboratively with the Alterations and Store Team and may require a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete sewing and pressing tasks according to store guidelines and service standards
• Execute workload and complete customer items on time
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following proper processes
• Use store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration with the Alterations and Store Team

Requirements

• Previous sewing and pressing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs
