Summary
Seasonal Support and Operations role providing store operations assistance across Shipping/Receiving, Stock Room, Cash Office and administrative duties. Position supports inventory preparation, vendor coordination, shrink reduction initiatives and operational process improvements for a retail store for up to three months.
Responsibilities
- Maintain office and facility supplies and grooming products for associates
- Coordinate invoices with Accounts Payable to ensure timely approval
- Support shrink reduction plan and report violations
- Coordinate accessories repair, engraving and embossing services with vendors
- Support inventory preparation and execution including processing incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Read and execute transfer, shipping, alteration, inventory and vendor documents
- Execute Cash Office processes and ensure POS audit compliance
- Control and replenish supplies as requested by management
- Assist with packing, unpacking and moving stock during receiving and restocking
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years retail operations or customer service experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong time management multi tasking and prioritization skills
- Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand walk and lift approximately 20 lbs
- Ability to pack unpack and move stock for receiving and stocking functions
