Summary
The Security Manager will lead and develop the security team at The Landmark to protect employees, clients, and company assets while delivering a premium Tiffany client experience. Partnering with the Security Director and store leadership, the role oversees security operations, incident management, physical security systems, and talent development. The manager is responsible for driving shrink reduction, emergency preparedness, and high standards of safety and service across the store.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Global Protection standards and drive a strong security culture across the store.
- Manage, coach, and schedule the security team to ensure optimal coverage for peak hours, events, and overnight needs.
- Partner with Operations and Security leadership to identify and implement shrink-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee emergency preparedness and incident management (Tiffany Prepared) and serve as point person during emergencies.
- Develop and conduct internal investigations to deter collusion and investigate theft.
- Ensure physical security systems (CCTV, alarms, locks, radios) are functioning and coordinate repairs and vulnerability evaluations.
- Support security for client events, including planning site plans, conveyance logistics, and event reporting.
- Build and maintain external relationships with law enforcement, vendors, and external security partners.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; 4 years retail management or security-related experience (law enforcement, military, private security, etc.).
- Must be available to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong computer skills, and ability to work with geographically remote individuals.
- High level of integrity, sense of urgency, and ability to foster cooperation across teams.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Preferred: 2- or 4-year degree and certifications such as LPC, CFI, CPP, or CFE.
