Security Officer - Lyndhurst Distribution Center

The Security Officer at the Lyndhurst Distribution Center will enforce the company's Security Policy and Procedures, ensuring the safety of employees and the protection of company assets. This role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents.

• Enforce the company's Security Policy and Procedures.
• Protect employees and physical property by patrolling the building and investigating suspicious activity.
• Monitor alarm and camera systems.
• Act as a first responder to security incidents and provide guidance during emergencies.
• Secure product, lock down building, and secure assets.
• Assist with building function and recovery efforts by scanning garbage and wanding employees.
• Maintain a detailed log of visitors.
• Drive company vehicle in the tristate area.
• Ensure appropriate merchandise records are maintained and provide documentation as needed.
• Conduct inventory of the product after company sales.
• Execute messenger deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Provide Command Center support by overseeing CCTV and fielding inquiries.
• Complete incident reports.

• Must possess full carry permit within NYC and NJ.
• Must possess HR218 Certification.
• Must hold a valid driving license in good standing.
• Diligent attention to safety and security.
• Flexibility to work full-time, including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Former Police/Military experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of High School Diploma.
