Summary
The Selling Supervisor mentors sales associates to deliver an elevated customer experience while driving category management and sales objectives. This role supports store operations, visual standards, inventory accuracy and daily team supervision in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals
- Coach and mentor sales team to maximize sales and units sold per transaction
- Coordinate client relationship resources to ensure elevated service
- Support store manager with onboarding and development of new hires
- Assist with stock operations, POS utilization and inventory management
- Open and close the store following company policies and procedures
- Partner with Visual Manager to implement merchandising and visual standards
- Supervise team and apply company policies regarding discipline when needed
- Perform assigned projects and follow up on operational paperwork accurately
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Business school, university or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with general software such as Word and Excel and POS systems
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Customer service orientation and problem solving abilities
- Ability to motivate others and build effective teams
