Job Description

Summary

The Selling Supervisor is a retail leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through advanced product knowledge, building lasting client relationships to drive sales and repeat business, and acting as the link between management and sales associates. This role supports store operations, merchandising, and motivates the team to achieve and exceed sales goals. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker with strong interpersonal skills and luxury retail experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support store manager with daily store operations and coordination.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and manage deposits and merchandise check in.
  • Supervise sales transactions and ensure adherence to cash protection procedures.
  • Coach and motivate sales staff to meet objectives and exceed sales goals.
  • Promote and sell products to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and merchandise the sales floor to company standards.
  • Build and maintain a clientele book and foster repeat business.
  • Assist store manager with operational excellence and team performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years luxury retail experience in a similar or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated competencies relevant to the position and inspirational team leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to operate independently with discretion and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, POS systems, and MS Office.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and maintain high performance standards.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate.
