Summary
Senior Analyst responsible for shaping global product offerings and optimizing in-store merchandising strategies to drive sales growth and inventory efficiency. This role partners with cross functional teams and maintains strong store relationships while providing analysis and reporting to influence merchandising and pricing decisions. Position is based in the New York City SoHo headquarters and supports North America buys and retail initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain weekly sales and sell through reporting to monitor store and product performance
- Execute in-depth studies and seasonal hindsight reviews to identify trends and future needs
- Analyze sales and inventory across channels to inform pricing, markdown, and liquidation strategies
- Define category sales targets and communicate pricing actions to stores and partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and store managers through visits and performance sharing
- Partner with training and visual merchandising to align on product presentation and selling ceremony
- Conduct market visits and competitor studies to maintain competitive awareness
- Collaborate with Planning, Buying, and Allocation to ensure correct purchase volume by location
- Support events with product flow plans and logistical timing of delivery and removal
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in merchandise, retail, or business planning
- Demonstrated retail math and strong business acumen
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with PowerBI, MicroStrategy, AX, Wasabi; Anaplan is a plus
- Conceptual and strategic thinker able to build business cases and influence senior leaders
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop effective relationships to achieve financial and merchandising solutions
