Senior Controller

We are currently seeking a Senior Controller to join our dynamic Finance team at Bottega Veneta. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in leading and guiding the controlling team, ensuring alignment across all financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities.

• Lead, coordinate, and guide the controlling team, fostering team development and collaboration.
• Oversee Financial Planning & Analysis including budgets, forecasts, and monthly closing reporting.
• Validate monthly closings, GL reconciliation, and perform analysis on P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Conduct sales and gross margin analyses and prepare ad hoc analyses to support the business.
• Develop budgets and business forecasts.
• Review and prepare accounting entries and provide guidance on accounting-related matters.
• Navigate multiple financial systems including SAP and HFM.
• Generate innovative ideas to increase efficiencies in processes and procedures.

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of the luxury/fashion market with exposure in retail and auditing.
