Senior Director, Talent Development & Performance

Summary

Leads talent development and performance management strategy across the organization. Partners with senior leaders to design and execute leadership development, succession planning, and performance programs. Oversees learning initiatives, performance calibration, and people metrics to drive employee capability and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive talent development and performance strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Design and oversee leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential programs.
• Manage the performance review process, calibration sessions, and related tools and communications.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to assess capability gaps and deliver targeted learning solutions.
• Establish metrics and reporting to measure program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent development, learning, or organizational effectiveness.
• Proven experience designing leadership development and performance management programs.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and change leadership skills.
• Experience in retail or department store environment preferred.
