Summary
Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the FP and A Director responsible for supporting Americas business in cost control, budgeting and forecasting across stores and corporate. The role involves month end P and L analysis, OPEX review, ad hoc reporting and partnering with HR and business leaders to identify risks and savings opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support Americas business including USA Canada Mexico and Brazil in cost control analysis and planning
- Support monthly closings and perform P and L analysis for store and corporate
- Prepare and distribute monthly cost reporting for business partners including T E maintenance facilities and event spend
- Assist with OPEX review monthly reclasses and accruals and ad hoc reporting
- Partner with HR to analyze monthly staff cost actuals and trends versus plan
- Work with corporate leaders to understand expenses challenge costs and identify savings opportunities
- Plan and submit corporate and store OPEX for AMER budgets and forecast cycles
- Navigate and master accounting systems and sub ledgers including SAP HFM and Rubis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance Economics or Accounting
- 5 years in a similar role retail experience a plus
- Advanced technical skills in Excel PowerPoint SAP and HFM
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- System savvy self motivated to learn new technology and participate in projects
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and counterparts overseas
- Willingness to work longer hours during peak periods
