Summary
Senior Financial Reporting Manager responsible for preparing and reviewing SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K, monitoring regulatory guidance and adopting new accounting standards, and accounting for complex transactions while collaborating with executive leadership and cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation and review of SEC filings on Forms 10-K and 10-Q including notes to the financial statements and XBRL tagging
- Oversee supporting tie outs for SEC filings and quarterly earnings press releases
- Manage quarterly GAAP related checklists and peer benchmarking of disclosures
- Assist in preparation and review of quarterly Board presentations
- Monitor rulemaking activities of the SEC FASB and EITF and develop implementation strategies
- Account for stock based compensation including forecasting and actual expense calculations
- Prepare technical accounting memos and analyses including impairments and going concern considerations
- Review complex and non routine transactions and provide accounting guidance to global teams
- Oversee SOX compliance program and annual 401(k) financial statement report preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA required
- Approximately 7 years of experience in public or private accounting
- Strong technical accounting and research skills with ability to interpret regulatory guidance
- Strong organizational analytical and written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a complex multi national organization is a plus
- Systems experience including Workiva consolidation systems and general ledgers such as SAP is a plus
- Familiarity with preparing PowerPoint presentations is a plus
