Senior Indirect Tax Accountant - Personal Property Tax

As a Senior Indirect Tax Accountant - Personal Property Tax at Kering, you will play a crucial role in managing personal property tax compliance for over 250 retail locations. You will ensure accurate preparation and filing of property tax renditions, analyze assessments, and assist with audits to maintain compliance with jurisdictional requirements.

• Manage personal property tax compliance for 250+ retail locations.
• Gather data and identify taxable assets for accurate preparation and filing of property tax renditions.
• Analyze property tax assessments and appeal assessments as needed.
• Assist with property tax audits, including data gathering, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Maintain proficiency in state and local tax laws using tax research software.
• Work on special projects and research complex tax issues.
• Assist with other areas of indirect tax compliance, such as sales/use tax and business licenses.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; advanced degree a plus.
• 3+ years of relevant indirect tax/accounting experience; experience in a retail environment a plus.
• Knowledge of Vertex O Series, Vertex Returns, Avalara, and ERP software (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Experience researching state & local tax laws and regulations using third-party research tools.
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Superior judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team and cross-functionally.
