Summary
Senior Leader, Home Delivery responsible for leading vision and delivering operational excellence across warehouse and home delivery functions. Provide strategic oversight, develop and coach teams, manage P&L accountability, and ensure a luxury delivery experience aligned with company standards. Drive continual improvement and resolve escalated customer service issues while overseeing vendor performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire teams across warehouse and home delivery operations
- Assess, coach, train, mentor and develop direct reports
- Plan, direct and oversee daily workflow and deliverables across functions
- Manage all facets of P&L including analysis and reporting
- Align home delivery experience with luxury gallery standards
- Oversee and hold home delivery and logistics vendors accountable to key metrics
- Drive continual improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Address and resolve escalated customer service issues
- Visit clients within assigned geographic territory as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years leadership experience in furniture home delivery, warehouse operations or similar field
- Experience leading third party carrier providers
- Skilled in hiring, training, coaching and performance management
- Knowledge of profit and loss, margins and related business principles
- Strong written and oral communication and analytical skills
- Computer literacy with daily use of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to visit clients in assigned territory and lift at least 50lbs
- Must pass background check, MVR and drug screen
