Job Description

Summary

The Senior Manager, Commercial Development leads strategic account support and business growth for CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty multi-brand retail partners. This role develops and executes customized omnichannel plans, manages senior retailer relationships, and aligns internal teams to improve brand image, market share, and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Own account performance and serve as the primary contact for major retail partners.
  • Develop seasonal omnichannel marketing strategies spanning advertising, visual presence, and e-retail initiatives.
  • Lead account negotiations, presentations, and strategic planning with retailer and CHANEL leadership teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and use client intelligence to develop targeted programs and grow accounts.
  • Represent CHANEL and align internal media and brand activities with overall brand objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in marketing, business development, account development, merchandising, digital marketing, or analytics, with direct account or brand management and negotiation experience.
  • Strong analytical, retail math, financial modeling, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and understanding profit and loss; digital marketing or CRM experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to manage competing priorities and occasional travel.
  • Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the New York City office.
