Senior Product Management Manager, Purple Label Sweaters & Knits

Summary

The Senior Manager leads product lifecycle management for Purple Label sweaters and knits, from concept and sampling through bulk production. The role coordinates cross-functional teams to uphold design intent, quality, cost, lead time, and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain seasonal product data, line management tools, KPIs, and development calendars.
• Oversee yarn development, lab dips, stitch approvals, sample tracking, production readiness, and on-time delivery.
• Partner with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Raw Materials, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to meet product standards and manage production plans.
• Drive costing, cost engineering, margin analysis, and cost updates.
• Identify and resolve risks involving yarn availability, quality, cost, capacity, lead times, and delivery.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Experience in apparel product management, product development, production, or sourcing, with strong experience in sweaters and knits.
• Deep knowledge of knitwear construction, yarns, gauges, stitches, finishing, fit, quality standards, and garment manufacturing.
• Ability to lead seasonal execution, manage complex timelines, and solve problems.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, analytical, costing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
