Summary
Senior Technical Analyst responsible for designing and configuring technical solutions, documenting system flows, creating functional and technical specifications and user stories, configuring purchased software, and supporting development and production teams to deliver integrations and application enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure technical solutions for new development, implementations and enhancements.
- Conduct solutioning sessions and document current and to-be system flows.
- Create detailed functional and technical documentation and user stories to support development teams.
- Configure and customize purchased software solutions and perform light development or enhancements.
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, business users and development teams to align on solutions.
- Validate and test solutions and support project and enhancement deployments.
- Lead and manage small project or change implementations and assist Scrum Master or Product Manager with plans.
- Maintain and update technical support documentation and transition solutions to production support teams.
- Continuously improve knowledge of enterprise application architecture and integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or substantiated equivalent business experience.
- 5 years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or JDE World experience configuring implementing and supporting the application.
- 3 years of experience with Vertex and integrations to and from Vertex.
- Hands on experience in requirements gathering design development and testing of ERP applications.
- Demonstrated experience documenting functional and technical requirements and creating design documents.
- Excellent SQL query skills and familiarity with database structures and integration design documentation.
- Strong interpersonal written verbal and presentation skills and ability to lead cross functional requirements sessions.
- Business process knowledge in accounts payable accounts receivable general accounting sales audit and financial reconciliation.
- Experience working in a global and offshore operating model and balancing projects with production support.
