Summary
Senior Applications Development Analyst responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting integrated wholesale and retail assortment and space planning solutions. The role combines business analysis with technical expertise in data modeling, SQL development, and retail planning platforms to deliver scalable cloud based analytics and planning capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and document business requirements for retail and wholesale planning processes.
- Create and maintain data models ensuring accuracy integrity and performance.
- Troubleshoot issues optimize queries and enhance system functionalities independently.
- Provide technical support documentation during system implementations upgrades and integrations.
- Design and develop SQL queries and scripts to extract transform and manage data from various sources.
- Evaluate and help implement analytics tools prioritizing cloud based scalable solutions.
- Partner with leaders to align technology solutions with business needs and priorities.
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in retail systems processes and planning methodologies.
- Proven business analyst skills including requirement definition design testing training and implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with assortment planning platforms such as Blue Yonder Anaplan or 09 Solutions preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite SharePoint and Oracle CPQ.
- Strong communication skills for presentations and written documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively or autonomously with minimal supervision.
