Summary
The Service Center Coordinator supports the client servicing experience for the store and acts as a key holder and manager on duty when managers are unavailable. Responsibilities vary daily and include order flow management, inventory oversight, machine engraving and embossing, servicing support to store personnel and ensuring service levels and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and process service orders including logging, prioritization, communication and preparing shipments
- Perform technical servicing tasks such as machine engraving and embossing to company quality standards
- Serve as manager on duty to maintain workflow and coordinate Service Center team activities
- Manage parts inventory including cycle counts and ordering and resolve inventory issues
- Troubleshoot service issues and act as liaison to technical staff and stores
- Provide servicing expertise and educate store personnel on servicing procedures
- Ensure security and staging of merchandise through the department
- Report order issues and equipment needs to management
- Partner with management on projects and provide frequent updates on assigned orders
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience in a retail operations role or technical environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Outlook and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi task
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Experience with machine engraving or embossing preferred
- Inventory management knowledge and familiarity with repair systems preferred
