Summary

The Sewer performs sewing and pressing tasks to deliver high quality alterations and customer service within the Alterations Shop. This role follows company guidelines, meets productivity goals, uses store technology to manage orders, and collaborates with the store team to complete customer requests on time. The position requires flexibility to work varied schedules based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete sewing tasks according to company guidelines and service standards
• Operate pressing equipment and complete pressing tasks
• Execute workload and follow through on customer alteration needs
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration orders
• Complete items on time and maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team to deliver customer expectations

Requirements

• Previous sewing and pressing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs
