Shoe Care Specialist - NorthPark Center

As a Shoe Care Specialist at NorthPark Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional shoe care services, including shining, minor repairs, and customer consultations, in a dynamic retail environment. You will ensure the shine stand is organized and ready to meet customer expectations while maintaining accurate records of transactions.

• Perform and complete shoe care tasks according to Nordstrom guidelines and service standards.
• Ensure the shine stand is organized and ready to deliver on customer expectations.
• Shine shoes and provide consultation on care of shoes and minor repairs.
• Utilize store technology to answer phones, checkout customers, and properly record customer information.
• Meet department and individual productivity goals.
• Communicate supply needs in a timely manner to manager.
• Maintain accurate records of shoe care transactions and record tips daily.
• Flex into other shoe stock and cleaning tasks when needed.

• Basic math, organization, and written communication skills.
• Preferred minimum 1-2 years of previous shoeshine experience.
• Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, peers, and leadership through clear and professional communication.
• A willingness to learn, and a high level of ownership for personal growth, accountability, and initiative.
• Ability to work independently, with little or no day-to-day direction.
• The ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs.
