Job Description

Summary

As a Showroom Intern at Hermès, you will be an integral part of the daily operations and organization of our New York showroom. You will engage with interior designers and clients, leading sales opportunities and supporting the showroom's growth.

Responsibilities
  • Interact with clients and prospective clients in the showroom.
  • Prepare compelling presentations and assist with quotes and invoices.
  • Follow up on emails to HQ, clients, and designers.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving samples and manage inventory processes.
  • Coordinate special projects and events and support showroom sales development.
  • Research potential clients and schedule presentations.
  • Create monthly activity reports and track foot traffic and daily showroom activity.
Requirements
  • Currently a junior or senior in undergraduate studies or a graduate student in a relevant field such as Interior Design, Fine Arts, or Business.
  • Strong interest or previous experience in the luxury sector and Design/Home Decoration sector.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and a fast learner with strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Photoshop and/or Canva experience is helpful.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work effectively with others and individually.
  • French speaking and writing is a plus.
