SummaryAs a Specialist in Events and Experiences, you will play a crucial role in supporting the creation and execution of Saks Fifth Avenue's event strategy. You will maximize exposure for Saks Fifth Avenue in the local marketplace and act as a liaison between the Merchant Team, vendor community, and all retail stores.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage events across all Saks Fifth Avenue locations, conducting analysis and results review for future recommendations.
- Assist with planning and execution of new store openings and major renovations.
- Support event planning and logistics, including store communication, creation of turnkey event formats, and budget management.
- Execute marquee events, including invitation development, décor design, and show production in all full-line stores.
- Manage event budgets and seasonal vendor chargebacks for all full-line stores.
- Assist with national initiatives, including focus weeks, brand launches, and holiday activations.
- Proactively analyze event results to refine and improve future events, maximizing sales opportunities.
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Requirements- 4-year college degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of relevant event experience in fashion, entertainment, or retail industries.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and effective manner.
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative and detail-oriented with strong planning and execution skills.
- Creative thinker with strong partnership skills for internal and external community engagement.
