Sr Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain

As a Senior Industrial Engineer in Supply Chain at Nordstrom, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing productivity and optimizing labor management systems across our supply chain network. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home one day per week and requires significant travel to various locations.

• Lead the design, deployment, and governance of engineered labor standards (ELS) and optimize labor management systems (LMS).
• Serve as the technical SME for LMS integrations, performance tracking, and labor standard configurations.
• Collaborate with operations and workforce management teams to integrate labor standards into LMS effectively.
• Conduct performance audits and observations to identify deviations from standards and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and standardize network-wide processes and best practices to improve throughput and labor efficiency.
• Utilize AutoCAD layouts for warehouse travel calculations and perform machine speed testing.
• Manage labor standards refreshes using project management methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain Distribution/Fulfillment environments is desired.
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, SQL, and UMT/Labor Pro is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both frontline team members and senior leadership.
• Passion for using data to improve operational performance and labor efficiency.
