Job Description

Summary

The Sr. Program Manager/Chief of Staff to the VPs of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement plays a crucial role in enabling the VP and their leadership team to work effectively with stakeholders by driving business operations, internal communications, and strategic initiatives across the Nordstrom organization. This position requires a combination of focus, flexibility, and a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role, serving as trusted counsel to Senior Executives.

Responsibilities
  • Drive internal communications, strategy, events, and initiatives with a focus on change management and employee engagement.
  • Own and drive processes and agendas to enable successful leadership and alignment across teams.
  • Develop data and measurement standards to align with business outcomes and communicate progress using data.
  • Drive cross-cutting strategic initiatives and provide thought leadership to identify and solve business group issues.
  • Act as a key partner to ensure alignment and coordination of key processes and initiatives.
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of related experience in financial planning, project management, or business process engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to tell stories using data.
  • Proven success in formulating strategy and guiding implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for a large organization.
  • Ability to create effective relationships and collaborate at all organizational levels.
