Summary
Manage and optimize store back‑of‑house operations to ensure compliance with company guidelines and exceptional product care. Act as the link between stockroom and sales floor to support merchandise availability and enhance the client experience. Lead inventory processes including cycle counts and reconciliation while supporting loss prevention and after sales management.
Responsibilities
- Implement retail operation policies for back‑of‑house management in coordination with the Operations Manager.
- Organize sellable products and optimize stockroom layout to support sales and minimize client waiting time.
- Support timely merchandise replenishment and execution of omnichannel ship‑from‑store orders.
- Manage intake and outflow of products and non sellable items such as packaging and uniforms.
- Execute regular cycle counts and participate in annual stock‑takes with the store team.
- Track and reconcile stock discrepancies and report losses or unusual adjustments for approval.
- Partner with Store Manager to define loss prevention action plans and conduct audits of stock movements.
- Control handling of defective or damaged items and assist with after sales processes including returns and repairs.
- Utilize company systems and tools such as SAP, PRISM, and related applications for stock management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, luxury retail preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with retail systems and operational tools including inventory systems.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule.
- Operational leadership skills to guide store team and implement policies.
- Expertise in inventory accuracy, stock discrepancy resolution, and stockroom organization.
- Knowledge of loss prevention practices and ability to conduct audits.
- Client centric approach to support product availability and after sales processes.
