Summary
Seeking a Stock Associate to support store operations in Manhasset by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining stockroom organization, and assisting the sales team to ensure efficient merchandise flow and excellent brand representation.
Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of merchandise and supply deliveries against documentation
- Perform stock checks and deliver merchandise to the sales floor as requested
- Organize stock room by style, color and size per store standards
- Execute routine cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies to management
- Maintain shipping area and ensure outgoing merchandise is packaged and logged
- Maximize stock space for easy access and store efficiency
- Communicate new arrivals, replenishment and client returns to management and sales team
- Restock packaging supplies and aid in training new hires on shipping and receiving procedures
- Complete tasks and projects assigned by Store Management
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in a complex retail stock room preferred
- Experience with international and domestic freight carriers a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills; Excel experience preferred
- Ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and lift packages up to 20 lbs regularly
- Self-motivated, professional team player with high accountability
