Summary
The Stock Controller partners with store operations, sales teams, and management to execute operational duties and ensure compliance with company procedures. This role focuses on inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining stock accuracy across back of house and front of house areas in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, shipping and receiving procedures
- Ensure stock and product upkeep in back of house and front of house per operations guidelines
- Oversee delivery of incoming and outgoing shipments and direct staff for store inventories
- Partner with Stock Associates to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Provide customer service regarding repairs and return of merchandise
- Achieve inventory level accuracy including UPT updates
- Support store staff to comply with inventory maintenance and operations procedures
- Adhere to company operational policies and procedures
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years retail operations experience
- Prior luxury retail experience preferred
- Proven track record in inventory management and reporting
- Proficient with MS Word Excel and Outlook
- College degree preferred
- Authorized to work in the country of employment
- Willingness to work overtime with short notice and varied hours
- Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 40 pounds and operate store equipment
