Job Description

Summary

The Stock Controller partners with store operations and sales teams to execute inventory and back-of-house procedures, ensuring compliance with company processes and service standards. This role manages shipping and receiving, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports store staff in operational initiatives. The Stock Controller also provides customer service related to repairs and returns and oversees delivery and staff direction for inventories.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory, shipping, and receiving procedures to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Ensure inventory level accuracy and update unit-per-transaction (UPT) and availability reports
  • Maintain front-of-house and back-of-house stock according to operations guidelines
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments and direct staff during store inventories
  • Support store staff to comply with inventory maintenance and back-of-house operations procedures
  • Provide customer service for repairs and return of merchandise

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years retail operations experience; luxury retail experience preferred
  • Proven track record in inventory management, maintenance, and reporting
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; college degree preferred
  • Authorization to work in the country of employment and willingness to work overtime on short notice
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise/boxes (generally 0-40 pounds), operate necessary store equipment, and work varied hours including standing and walking for the majority of a 40-hour week
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership qualities, and ability to read and analyze reports
