Summary
The Stock Supervisor oversees inbound and outbound merchandise and maintains back of house stock and supply areas to maximize store productivity. This role supports client advisors, supervises stockroom organization and replenishment processes, and represents the brand while ensuring accuracy in receipts deliveries and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and supervise inbound and outbound merchandise handling and stockroom organization
- Ensure efficient and accurate replenishment of merchandise to the selling floor
- Prepare new items for display in collaboration with client advisors
- Control and supervise transfers inter store movements and other stock operations
- Plan and undertake inventory operations and contribute to loss prevention efforts
- Oversee receipts deliveries outgoing packages retail and non retail
- Train and support new stock keepers on system and stockroom guidelines
- Manage store materials supplies uniforms and coordinate with suppliers for orders and invoicing
- Participate in daily store meetings and report maintenance issues to Corporate
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of luxury retail sales experience
- Experience with women and men ready to wear merchandise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Results driven with leadership capabilities and ability to supervise staff
- Adaptable to a fast paced retail environment
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of inventory control loss prevention and shipping and receiving procedures
