Store Facility Technician

As a Store Facility Technician at Neiman Marcus in Scottsdale, you will provide technical expertise to support the store during operational hours, ensuring the maintenance and functionality of various systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting, repairs, and general upkeep to maintain a high standard of store operations.

• Conduct weekly preventive maintenance on all building equipment and safety inspections.
• Oversee inspections on facility equipment such as vertical transportation, boilers, generators, and HVAC systems.
• Order maintenance supplies and assist the Regional Manager in managing maintenance expenses.
• Support capital planning projects and maintain building energy management systems.
• Oversee store systems including Point of Sale (POS) and Telephone systems.
• Respond to after-hours and emergency calls, with potential overtime required.
• Support the store during its busiest season from Black Friday to mid-January.

• 2-5 years of experience or equivalent in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Background in building maintenance, electrical, and HVAC.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Effective communication skills with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) information.
• Highly self-motivated and customer-centric approach.
