Lead all aspects of store performance, operations, visual presentation, and team development to achieve sales and margin goals for a luxury retail boutique. Serve as the primary leader on site, ensuring exceptional customer service, inventory accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and performance of the store and individual sales associates.
- Partner with senior management to set and achieve sales and margin targets.
- Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising to company standards.
- Analyze sell-through and communicate product availability and market trends.
- Enforce security measures to minimize shrinkage and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performance sales team.
- Manage operational costs and budgetary expenses efficiently.
- Create a professional, inviting store environment with superior customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or Business preferred.
- Minimum of five years' experience in retail management, luxury experience preferred.
- Experience in specialty retail including business development and store operations.
- Proficiency with retail point of sale systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, and email.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and develop teams.
- Ability to build competency plans and learning and development goals for team members.
