Store Operations Manager

As a Store Operations Manager, you will lead and guide the store team to ensure compliance with Valentino guidelines, optimize store back-end processes, and uphold the highest standards of product care. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of store operations and delivering exceptional client service.

• Manage the cascading of retail operation manuals and train the store team effectively.
• Ensure proper control and implementation of Retail Operation policies and procedures.
• Organize sellable products to support sales and minimize client waiting time.
• Oversee the ordering process and management of non-sellable products.
• Coordinate product intake and outflow to optimize stock capacity and maintain proper stock rotation.
• Leverage company tools and systems to streamline store activities and train the team in their use.
• Guarantee regular execution of cycle counts and stock-takes, defining clear roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of stock discrepancies and share any stock loss cases for approval.
• Implement solid control over merchandise to identify defective or damaged items promptly.
• Oversee audits of POS usage and back-office activities to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Support the Store Manager in monitoring retail costs and identifying potential savings.
• Oversee collateral activities like cleaning and security to ensure service level standards.
• Train, nurture, and motivate the team to achieve high efficiency and create a result-oriented work environment.

• 5+ years of experience in managing back-of-house operations in a retail setting.
• Expertise in inventory and stock management, ensuring accurate inventory and effective stock flow practices.
• Competence in loss prevention and compliance, creating action plans and conducting audits.
• Strong leadership and team development skills, inspiring and empowering the team.
• Client-centric approach with skills in managing before-and-after-sales processes.
• Excellent communication skills to establish effective dialogue with corporate functions and external stakeholders.
