Summary
The Storyteller at the Madison Avenue Atelier serves as the Maison's cultural and narrative ambassador and first point of contact for guests. This role focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality, conveying the brand's heritage and craftsmanship, and driving client prospecting while facilitating seamless introductions to Client Advisors.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional hospitality across the Atelier and sales floor.
- Share the Maison's heritage, artisanal techniques, and raw materials to create memorable client experiences.
- Proactively prospect for clients and collaborate with Client Advisors to support personalized service and conversions.
- Manage client flow, appointments, and line procedures while ensuring guest comfort and safety.
- Identify storytelling and product-knowledge opportunities and partner with leadership to coach and elevate the team.
- Support boutique events, VIC activations, and special experiences to the Maison standard.
- Address client concerns with empathy and escalate to management when necessary; maintain aftersales care knowledge.
Requirements
- Passion for luxury, hospitality, and storytelling with appreciation for craftsmanship and heritage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to engage clients and build authentic relationships on the sales floor.
- Strong coaching and collaboration skills with the ability to influence by example.
