Supervisor, Logistics

Summary

The Supervisor, Logistics directs the integrity and flow of merchandise into and out of the location to ensure product availability on the selling floor. This role leads a logistics team, manages daily workflow and staffing, and coordinates transfers and special order deliveries. The Supervisor also oversees supplies, storage practices, and compliance with safety and privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide task-specific, in-situ coaching to logistics team members
• Manage workflow and review daily objectives, assigning tasks as needed
• Partner with management to ensure appropriate staff scheduling and workforce planning
• Ensure swift delivery of product to the selling floor and coordinate processing of transfer requests
• Manage follow-up between Sales Manager and buying office for special orders to meet customer promise dates
• Manage supplies including hanger inventories, wrapping and packing materials
• Direct the safe, controlled storage of customer merchandise and enforce departmental standards
• Ensure compliance with privacy policies, cyber security measures, and health & safety requirements

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree, preferably in Business
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a similar logistics or retail operations role
• Basic computer skills
