Job Description

Summary

Provide professional tailoring and fitting services to customers by measuring, fitting, and altering garments to meet quality and service standards. Perform timely alterations using sewing and pressing machinery while supporting department productivity and customer satisfaction. Maintain organization of customer alteration needs using store technology and collaborate with the store team to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Measure customers for size and fit garments on customers
  • Mark areas requiring alterations and perform sewing alterations
  • Complete customer fittings and alterations on time according to guidelines
  • Meet department and individual productivity goals
  • Utilize store technology to manage customer alteration requests
  • Collaborate with the Alterations and store team to deliver customer expectations
  • Educate customers and employees on fit style construction and trends

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of fitting tailoring and sewing experience preferred
  • Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs
