Provide professional tailoring and fitting services to customers, ensuring garments are measured, fitted, altered, and finished to meet quality and service standards. Maintain productivity while using store technology to manage alteration requests and collaborate with the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit garments on customers.
• Mark areas requiring alterations and perform sewing alterations and fittings.
• Complete customer fittings and alterations in a timely manner according to guidelines and service standards.
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following established processes.
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs.
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration within the alterations and store team.
• Educate customers and employees on proper fit, style, construction, and trend in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Previous fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience; preferred minimum of 2-3 years.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment.
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs.
