Summary

The Tailor performs precise alterations to ensure garments fit customers perfectly and contribute to an exceptional in-store experience. This customer-facing role works closely with store management and sales associates while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations on suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers.
• Mark garments accurately and ensure alterations meet fit and finish standards.
• Collaborate with sales associates on sizing and garment recommendations.
• Keep the tailor shop clean and organized and maintain equipment.
• Deliver timely, precise alterations and high-level customer service.

Requirements

• Previous garment alteration experience, preferably in men's tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficiency in sewing techniques and basic tailoring equipment and machines.
• Understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.
• Strong organization, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-facing environment and a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
